Compassionate Counseling Interactive Insight Genuine Growth
Our Story
Wholesense Counseling & Consultation, PLLC was ignited in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, when the need for quality and accessible mental health care significantly exploded. Our foundation was inspired by the pre-existing growing demand to address the challenges that prevent individuals from seeking and receiving the support they need such as social stigma, limited access to mental health services, and cost, among others.

We provide Virtual Psychotherapy Services to the residents of North and South Carolina.

Owner & Founder - Wholesense Counseling & Consultation, PLLC
As a professional and mother, I recognize that life is dynamic and sometimes we need support with challenges, fear, grief, and feelings of unsettlement. Regardless of the extent of issue(s), if it's significant to you, we will navigate it together. As we partner, I will provide care, compassion, and a non-judgmental response that will validate your experience, while empowering you on your journey toward restoration and growth. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults.

A licensed independent clinical and supervising clinician experienced in working with diverse populations in a variety of mental health and social service settings, my professional background, coupled with my desire to generate access, resources, and support to individuals drives me to assist my clients with taking effective control of their lives.

On a personal note, I am mom to a college-aged son and dog-mom to my Jack Russell Terrier. When not being inspired by my extremely courageous clients, I enjoy reading, walking, cooking, spending time with family, friends, and pooch, watching mindless TV, and trying my hand at assorted creative projects. Conversely, to recharge and reflect, I value quiet time alone and meditation.

Our Specialities
Anxiety
Over 18% of Americans experience an anxiety disorder in a given year. Your therapist will help you identify situations that trigger anxiety and collaborate with you to develop effective strategies for managing fear.
Family Issues
Even when we love them, families can be our greatest stressors. Therapy can help you work on boundaries and healthier communication. You may also benefit from family therapy to improve relationship satisfaction between members.
Relational Issues
This is applicable to partners at any stage in their relationship, whether dating, engaged, or married. By proactively seeking support, partners can foster deeper trust and connection, intimacy and passion, communication and mutual understanding. We work with partners to identify and rescript conflict patterns, as well as address core underlying needs.
Teen/Adolescent Concerns
It’s no secret that teens are under enormous pressure. Although young people struggle with mental health concerns, they don’t usually receive adequate support. Therapy can help with issues related to self-esteem, peers and relationships, and family problems.
Depression
Depression can make ordinary tasks feel impossible. When left untreated, it can affect your work, relationships, and self-esteem. Therapy helps you challenge your negative thinking and implement new ways to cope with your feelings.
Immigrant/Refugee Transitions
WSCC provides counseling with culturally sensitive approaches to aid in the stability, social, and emotional adjustment of immigrants and refugees. We provide support to address difficulties due to transitions, trauma, and making adjustments to new culture and new life.
Significant Life Transitions
Whether you’re changing jobs, planning for a baby, or moving to a new city, even positive change can be stressful. Therapy provides support and reassurance during this difficult time.
Trauma
Trauma can impact every area of life functioning. Furthermore, at least one in 11 people will be diagnosed with PTSD at some point during their lifetime. If you’re struggling with trauma, therapy can help you process your emotions, work through your fears, and develop a new sense of meaning.
